Terribly Sad News

Hi Friends,

I’m so sorry to share that Courtney Everts Mykytyn died on December 30. If her name sounds familiar, it should. She’s the founder of Integrated Schools and I had the immense privilege of having several conversations with her and co-hosting an event with her about integrating schools about a year ago. Her leadership and passion will be greatly missed. You can read more about her and some things she wrote recently here:

As one light goes out, I am comforted by the knowledge that she ignited so many new lights in this work during her life, making the world brighter and bringing more people along on this journey for justice and equity. I will miss her guidance and passion and willingness to speak out and I will strive to continue the work fueled by her inspiration. I hope you will join me.
